Price quotation

We can provide a firm price quotation for clearing your land. To do that we'll need to know a few things about your land like the size and location, etc. You'll find all the information that we need on our how to get started page.

Set-up for the Herd

Before the goat herd arrives, the goat wrangler will come to the property and survey the land for toxic plants and to address any other concerns. Electrified fencing will be set up to keep the goats in and predators out. The goat wrangler will establish a water supply for the goats and plan for the best location to park the 40 foot goat trailer.

When everything is set up the rental goat herd will arrive. The herd size is 60 or 120 goats depending on the square footage to be cleared. 60 goats can eat about 1/4 acre (10,000 sq feet) in about 3-5 days.

The goats eat much but not all of the vegetation (contrary to popular belief, they don’t eat everything). They leave the large cane and woody growth. What ever vegetation the goats don't eat, the goat wrangler will clear by hand.

Security for the goats

The goat wrangler will be on site while the herd is clearing the property. The land owner will need to provide 24 hour access to a bathroom or a porter potty. Typically the goat wrangler will be sleeping in their truck on site for security and to care for the goats.
