Introducing...... ​

​We are Eric & Kim Cullum, owners of Rent a Ruminant North East Texas. In 2015, we left the hustle and bustle of suburban life and bought a small ranch in Farmersville Texas. Along with the purchase of the ranch came 20 goats. Instantly we knew that somehow, we would be involved in some sort of agribusiness, but we were not sure what that would be. The we came across Tammy of Rent-A-Ruminant.......and that’s when it all made sense. We were going to be Goat Wranglers!
 
Kim and I were married in the spring of 2000 but have known each other since we were teenagers. We have 3 kids Kaitlyn, Julia, and Allen. Our children have embraced this lifestyle and are great ranch hands. We elected to homeschool our 2 younger children, because what better place to learn real life skills than on a working ranch.
 
Kim and our son Allen run the day to day operations, while I still hold a 9 to 5 as a homebuilder. Kaitlyn and Julia work outside the home also, but may join the family business in the future.  Our goal is to grow the franchise into a family owned and operated business for years to come. Although we don’t know what the future holds we know who holds the future. It is with that, that we embrace each day.
